All roads lead to Ballygiblin today where Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra will take on Loreto Clonmel in the Lidl Post Primary Senior B final at 12.30.

The Rathmore girls will face a stiff test from the Tipperary side who were quite impressive in defeating a fancied Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne by 3 points in the semi final. Sliabh Luachra have vast big game experience however having won the All Ireland junior C title, and being narrowly defeated in the All Ireland senior C final in 2016.

Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra will be able to call upon quality players like Brid Ryan, Aoife O’Callaghan, Danielle O’Leary and Katie Buckley in their quest to win the title, but really there is talent throughout their very strong squad and fingers crossed they will lift the Munster Lidl Post Primary Senior B championship this afternoon.

Scoil Phobail Sliabh Luachra defeated Mercy CS by 7-6 to 3-8 to claim the Lidl Post Primary Junior All Ireland C Championship in Nenagh, Co Tipperary

Brid Ryan started the ball rolling with a goal in the first minute, this was followed by goals from Ava Looney, Aoife Nagle, Ryan again, Nagle again and Sarah Nagle to leave Sliabh Luachra leading by 6-4 to 2-4 at half time.

ISK Killorglin defeated Tuam 6-8 to 3-12 in the Lidl Post Primary Junior All Ireland B Championship, also in Nenagh.

This was a very exciting game and was very exciting all the way through.

Kate Maher , Ciara O’Brien, Fodhla Houlihan and Cora Joy all found the net for Killorglin in the first half , Fodhla Houlihan struck again early in the second half after a good save from Claire Fealey in the ISK goal. Lucy Clifford, Grace Cahillane, Kayleigh Moynihan and  Ailbhe Clifford were playing very well in the backs while Kate Maher and the outstanding Fiadhna Tangney were showing up very well in the forwards. A goal scored by Roisin Griffin for the ISK put a cushion between the teams with only minutes left on the clock. At the final whistle there were scenes of great jubilation as ISK were crowned champions on a 6-8 to 3-12 scoreline.
