New Refereeing Courses On The Way.
John Ross is the Kerry ladies referee co ordinator for 2016. One of John’s first tasks has been to organise some courses to recruit new referees to ladies football , and secondly to up skill the existing established referees. The Level 1 course which is for new refs will take place on the following dates :
Saturday 27th February.
Saturday 5th and 6th March.
This course will take place in a Killarney venue, and we would ask each club will send at least one representative to train to be a fully qualified referee.
Level two for existing Refs will take place on Feb 17th ,and we hope to have this one day workshop in Farranfore .
February County Board Meeting
The February meeting of the Kerry Ladies County Board takes place on Wed 3rd February
at 7.45pm in Legion GAA Club.

LGFA National County & Club Officer Day.
The LGFA National County & Club Officer Day will take place on Saturday 30th January in Croke Park. This is fantastic training for all Chairpersons, Secretaries, PRO’s, Treasurers and Registrars. The LGFA have secured real quality speakers to deliver on the day , and they will cover interesting topics that will be of interest to all County and Club Executive officers. In addition, it is a great day of information sharing, which is invaluable for learning new ideas etc. The closing date for registration is Monday the 18th January.

The Kerry South Fixtures Meeting.
The following clubs are deemed to be part of Kerry South, for the purposes of this meeting;
Scartaglin, Rathmore, Glenflesk, Inbhear Sceine Gaels, Spa, Legion, Fossa, Dr Crokes, Kilcummin, Currow, Firies, Milltown /Listry,
Beaufort, Laune Rangers, Cromane and Southern Gaels.
Important Note : Any club that cannot attend it’s own meeting, should alternatively attend the Kerry North meeting, which will be held on Monday 25th January @8pm venue TBC.
Any gradings decided at the meetings will be final and binding in the event of any club not attending either meeting.
