Next weekend sees the biggest event in third level colleges football take place in Kerry ,when the IT

Tralee is the host for the O’Connor Cup, The Giles Cup and the Lynch Cup..

The O’Connor Cup semi finals sees UCC take on UCD while UL take on DCU.

There is huge Kerry interest in these games as Deirdre Kearney, Kate O Sullivan, and Ciara Murphy line

out for UCD, while Anna Galvin (VC), Aishling O’Connell ,Ayesha Roche and Caroline McCarthy are with

UL .

The Giles Cup sees CIT take on St Pats while IT Carlow will take on Mary I Limerick in the other semi final.

Kerry players featuring in these games are Clodagh Quinlan and Shauna Hannifan for CIT , while Eilis

Lynch and Siobhan Goodwin line out for Mary I.

In the Lynch Cup semi finals WIT take on UL2 and DIT take on either UUJ or UCD2.

Kerry players lining out are Aileen Sheehan of WIT, while Laura Rogers is with UL2,

The semi finals throw in on Saturday March 11th with the finals scheduled for Saturday 12th March. The

games will be played between John Mitchells GAA pitch and Tralee IT GAA pitch. So best of luck to all
