The following is a statement from the Kerry U14 Management:

The Kerry U14 management would like to acknowledge the hard work and commitment of our U14 girls all year. Unfortunately our U14 inter county 2020 football season came to a premature end today. It is devastating news for all involved but we understand that it was done in the interest of everyone’s safety. We want to thank our sponsors Bons Secours Hospital Tralee, Pitman Training & Kerry Group who kindly sponsored our girls. Special thanks to retired and present Kerry senior footballer’s Seanie O’Shea, Jason Foley, Kieran Donaghy and Colm Cooper who all sent messages of support and encouragement for our players the last few weeks. We ask our girls to keep the heads up, Keep playing football and we will hopefully see them all again soon wearing the green and gold. We also ask everyone to keep safe in these uncertain times.
