Duagh claimed the first Rose Hotel County title of 2018 when they defeated a gallant Churchill side in the U/12 Division 5 Shield decider in Castleisland tonight. A goal on the stroke of half time saw Duagh take a 1-3 to 0-5 lead in at the break. A power packed second half meant that Duagh claimed the title on a 4-6 to 1-6 scoreline, but in fairness Churchill kept trying to the finish.
Well done to the Duagh team and management and hard luck to Churchill.
