Beale 1-3 Firies 4-11
Clounmacon /Moyvane 3-8
Annascaul/Castlegregory 2-10
Clounmacon ladies won an enthralling encounter in Parc Na Gael on Sunday morning. An early Rebecca Horgan goal helped settle down any early nerves and when Laura Stack goaled midway through the first half ,Clounmacon led by 2-4 to 0-1. But then Annascaul took over and scored 1-5 without reply to leave the bare minimum between the sides at half time. The second half was end to end with the lead changing hands a few times. A cracking goal from Ciara Haugh appeared to put us in the driving seat but Annascaul struck back immediately with a goal of their own. With time ticking away a brilliant point by Muirne Wall after one of her trademark surging runs proved to be the winning score.for Clounmacon/Moyvane

Fossa 5-7 Ballymac 3-7
Ballymac’s 2nd Co League game was played in glorious sunshine Sunday morning at 10.00am with both sides missing players . Similar to last Sunday ,Ballymac’s first half performance was well below the required level and they were behind 5-4 to 1-3 at half time . The 2nd half was a complete change with the Ballymac girls throwing off the shackles and they played some fantastic football . They added 2-4 to Fossa’s 0-3 and had they taken more chances could have easily won the game . Rose Ann O Shea gave us solidity in goals , Grainne Kerins commanded at full back , Tara & Micheala Murphy hovered up lots of ball & cleared effectively . Claire Kenny who’d a fine game closed down the Fossa centre forward & in doing so cut off their go to ball for kick outs . Aine Rice and Una Kerins drove forward from midfield along with Veronica Heaslip and Heather Jones at wing back . Emma Sweeney and Leah O Neill did the finishing up front assisted by Rachel Godley and Veronica O Donnell . All in all a very encouraging performance by all involved .
