Emma Dineen of the Glenflesk club and St Bridgets Secondary School Killarney ,

and Katie O’Mahony of the Rathmore club, and Pobal Scoil Sliabh Luachra Rathmore, were selected after 2 intensive trial games.

Emma starred at midfield for the Kerry u/16’s on their All Ireland winning team in 2015 , while Katie was a leading light for the Kerry minors and won a senior County Championship medal with Rathmore/Spa.
