County League a Great Success
Saturday, 15 May 2010

The Inaugural County League is now at an end and we congratulte the four winners of the Divisional titles. They are as follows: Div 1 - Laune Rangers, Div 2 - Listowel Emmets, Div 3 - Firies, Div 4 - Duagh. We would also like to congratulate John Mitchel's on their success in the Development Final. Overall the feedback that we received from the participating clubs was very positive and the League by and large was a great success. It was heartening on Saturday evening in Kilcummin to see the stand full and many more on the terrace to support Firies and Rathmore in the Div 3 Final replay. Focus will now quickly turn to an exciting summer of championship football action. The first round of the Senior Championship commences on the weekend of May 29/30.

Pictured below is the stand in Kilcummin packed with supporters at Saturday evening's Ladies Div 3 Final replay.
