Tyrone and Kerry in semi-final thriller |

William O'Sullivan's Kerry senior side did the whole county proud with a courageous fight back against pre match favourites Tyrone in today's pulsating semi-final. The two sides must meet again next Saturday after a dramatic All Ireland semi-final in Ballymahon. Tyrone raced into an early 1-3 to 0-0 lead and it took Kerry 11 minutes to register their first score. A brilliant Lorraine Scanlon goal just before the interval meant that both sides went in at half time level at 1-6 apiece. Tyrone struck again with a Jolene Donnelly goal just after the interval but Kerry rallied for a second time and scored five points without reply. The key moment in the game saw Mags O'Donoghue's penalty brilliantly saved and Tyrone broke up field for another goal. Tyrone held a 3 point lead with five minutes remaining before Bernie Breen scored a superb equalising goal. While both sides will feel that they could have won the game Kerry will take great heart from this performance. They more than matched the much vaunted Tyrone side over the hour and they will go into next weekend's replay with every confidence. Read on for teams and scorers and some pics. We will have further details of the game shortly.
